PwC Canada is a professional services firm focused on solving important problems. They are seeking a Transfer Pricing & Customs Associate to provide guidance and support to clients on transfer pricing matters and help businesses navigate complex tax regulations.
Responsibilities
- Drafting deliverables, including PowerPoint, memos, and detailed reports
- Detailed analyses of financial statements for our clients, and for comparables
- Assist in data collection, both from our clients and publicly available information
- Drafting deliverables, including PowerPoint, memos, and detailed reports
- Keep up to date with technology, and make suggestions for process improvements
- Data research using both publicly accessible and firm-specific databases
- Follow risk management and compliance procedures
- Keep up to date with developments in area of specialism
- Invite and give in the moment feedback in a constructive manner
- Share and collaborate effectively with others
- Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise
- Build and maintain an internal and external network
- Seek opportunities to learn about how PwC works as a global network of firms
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
Skills
- Business Administration, Finance or Economics related degrees
- A graduate degree is considered an asset
- An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
- Ability to manipulate public databases and PwC proprietary benchmarking tools, as well as robust skills using software applications including Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc
- You should be conscientious, self-motivated, and be able to assume responsibility for various aspects of a project within a team framework
- Ability to easily adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside and/or coaching diverse people and perspectives
