The Tri-Com Consulting Group is a Full-Service IT Employment Consulting Firm who is seeking qualified candidates for the following opening: Senior Oracle Financial Specialist Duration: 1 Year Contract – Extensions Possible Location: Providence, RI – Onsite preferred – Remote for the right candidate Work Week: 35 Hours Statement of Understanding Oracle Financial Specialist will lead and assist in supporting, maintaining and developing the Department’s Oracle EBS Financial System known as FMS. The Oracle ERP Modules include: ● Grants Management ● Inventory ● HRMS ● Time and Labor (OTL) ● Acc. Receivable (AR) ● Acc. Payable (AP) ● Purchasing (PO) ● General Ledger (GL) The contractor Technical Lead will: • Enhance / support the Oracle R12 Fin. Mngt. Syst. processes & address new areas of work. • Work with the WorkDay HCM/Payroll & Financial integration team on Data Mapping and Integrations • Work on Bridge Integrations between Oracle FMS and Workday as needed. New integrations from Oracle ERP include transaction on Purchase Orders, Invoices, GL, Grants, AR, Projects. • Develop new reports and update existing FMS Oracle reports, Required Experience 10+ Years Experience The candidate must be (60%) Technical and (40%) Functional and possess the following skill sets: • Well-versed with Procure-to-Pay modules and General Ledger (including SLA) - • Understand how Oracle Grants/Projects work and its integration Oracle PO, AP, OTL • Basics of Oracle HRMS, Oracle Time and Labor • Technically strong in R12.2.x architecture and tech-stack • Experience in developing Oracle integrations for Workday Projects is desired The candidate must be technically strong in: ● Oracle Application Object ● Oracle Forms 10G and Reports 10G ● SQL, PL/SQL ● UNIX Shell Scripting ● Oracle Applications Framework ● Oracle Database 11g and 12c ● XML Publisher Reports ● BI Publisher Reports ● Linux/Unix ● Java ● JDeveloper ● SQL Developer ● Puddy ● Toad ● Workflow ● Oracle Database 12c ● Test Plans and User Guides ● Scripting (Unix Shell, SAMBA, Client, JavaScript) Preferred not Required • OBIEE Reports Scope of the Work All modules have a great deal of customizations. · Most custom reports: o HR o OTL · Most customizations impacting functionality. o Grants o OTL o AP Scope of Services • Suggest improvements and map the requirements for the Oracle EBS environment • Support and assist the internal IT team with support issues and key development areas • Prepare project plans, estimates and milestones, task plans, test plans and defect tracking mechanisms to deliver and manage projects, customizations & enhancements • Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12.2.X implementations, upgrades and support • Knowledge of HRMS, OTL, Inventory, PO, AP, Grants, Subledger Accounting, and GL • Design, develop and deliver high level custom solutions using: o SQL and PL/SQL o RICE Objects § Interfaces § Conversions § Integrations § Extracts o Oracle Application Object Library, o Oracle Forms 10g o Reports § Oracle Reports 10g § Discoverer Reports 11g, § XML § BI Publisher Reports § OBIEE Reports and Analytics o Workflows o Oracle Application Framework o Java o XML o Scripting § UNIX Shell § SAMBA Client § JavaScript o Oracle Database 12c o Oracle tools § JDeveloper § SQL Developer] • Perform gap fixes and performance tuning (Work with DBAs) • Develop and deliver customizations and extensions • Perform unit testing and coordinate with users for integration and system testing • Manage and coordinate issue resolutions and escalations • Coordinate with Oracle on Product bugs, patches and Service Request resolutions • Weekly report on deliverables status and presentations with management • Support, develop and modify Bridge Integrations from FMS Oracle ERP to Workday ERP. • Develop New Oracle FMS Reports and Update existing Oracle FMS Reports with the Bridge Integrations from Oracle FMS to Workday ERP • Examine and analyze the benefits & risks of the project – Assist stakeholders in decision making • Implement effective risk management strategies • Gather requirements and input • Design, develop and deliver the projects on time with quality deliverables • Document test plans and results, deployment plans • Update project repository using industry documentation standards • Review projects and coordinate with the Lead Consultant ~Tri-Com is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer~ We strongly encourage the applications of women, minorities, persons with disabilities, and military veterans.
