Oversee and coordinate long-term recovery efforts for Hurricane Helene and Milton in Georgia and South Carolina.
Collaborate with local community leaders, government agencies, and other organizations to provide resources and support to affected individuals and families.
Lead a team of recovery specialists and volunteers to efficiently and effectively carry out recovery efforts.
Develop and implement strategic plans to address the specific needs of the affected communities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and coordinated recovery effort.
Manage and allocate resources, including finances, personnel, and materials, to support recovery operations.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including community members, partners, and senior leadership within the American Red Cross.
Monitor and assess progress of recovery efforts and make necessary adjustments to ensure the most effective use of resources.
Stay updated on disaster recovery best practices and trends to continuously improve recovery operations.
Serve as a spokesperson for the American Red Cross and advocate for the needs of the affected communities.
Facilitate meetings and trainings with community members, partners, and volunteers to ensure a collaborative and efficient recovery process.
Prepare and submit reports on recovery efforts to senior leadership and funding agencies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to safety and confidentiality.
Provide support and guidance to affected individuals and families, including connecting them with necessary resources and services.
Represent the American Red Cross in a professional and compassionate manner at all times.
