What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a product-minded, impact-driven Senior Full Stack Engineer who thrives at the intersection of impact and innovation. You’ll help architect and build an end-to-end product experience, from backend systems to frontend interfaces, and collaborate closely with design, product, and data to move fast and learn even faster.
You bring backend expertise (Python preferably or a language agnostic approach), strong frontend fundamentals (React or similar), and a bias toward rapid learning through experimentation. While not required, we’d be especially excited if you’re curious about or experienced in mobile development.
You’ll be an advocate for highly iterative development approaches, data-driven decision-making in your team fueling our mission to bring health and wellness to millions.
Key responsibilities:
Shape a Greenfield Product: Build and evolve both frontend and backend systems for a brand-new wellness platform integrating video, content, data, and user interactivity.
Own the Full Stack Development: Take end-to-end ownership from designing APIs and building interfaces to connecting cloud services and instrumenting analytics.
Lead Frontend Development: Deliver responsive, performant UIs using TypeScript and modern frameworks like React or Next.js.
Drive Rapid Prototyping: Build lovable prototypes and MVPs to test product hypotheses quickly, iterating based on real user feedback and data.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product managers, designers, data experts, and content teams to bring cohesive, user-centric experiences to life.
Balance Quality & Speed: Maintain a clean, scalable codebase while shipping fast and learning fast.
Mentor & lead by example: Provide guidance to team members, lead team level product and engineering initiatives, influence coding standards, support your team in making critical decisions
Required skills:
Product Mindset: Proven ability to translate user needs into impactful product features, with a strong focus on delivering value.
Backend Engineering: Strong experience designing and building scalable backend systems. Proficient in Python or similar languages (e.g., Kotlin, Go, Java), with a solid understanding of API design, data modeling, and system architecture.
Frontend Familiarity: You have experience with modern frontend frameworks like React and TypeScript. Comfortable collaborating and architecting client-side features.
Cloud Infrastructure Experience: Familiarity with cloud services, especially AWS (e.g. Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFormation).
Full-Stack System Design: Ability to architect and implement reliable, maintainable systems across the stack.
Fast Iteration and Experimentation: Experience in environments that favor rapid prototyping, testing, and learning.
Engineering Culture Contributor: You mentor peers, improve team workflows, and elevate code quality through strong practices and collaboration.
Nice to have:
Familiarity or interest in mobile development (React Native, Flutter) or building experiences involving video, multimedia, or streaming.
