Our Client

We’re creating a new standard of care.

This health care company specializes in cardiometabolic care —a first-of-its-kind, whole-body approach to preventing and treating obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol, and helps with weight management. We offer custom care plans, prescription medications, and expert guidance to help our members live healthier every day.

It was founded in 2021 by the team behind mySugr (acquired by Roche in 2017) and has brought together a team of leaders from across cardiometabolic healthcare, along with the backing of leading investors like Cigna Ventures, 7Wire Ventures, and Founders Fund.

Job Summary

Foundational role embedded within our growing US-based tech and AI team. As the inaugural data hire, you’ll architect the systems, pipelines, and data culture that will power our scale. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership from day one, influence the future of our data stack, and grow alongside a mission-driven, high-impact team.

The Data Engineer is a multifaceted role that bridges the gap between robust data infrastructure and high-performance product development. You’ll architect scalable data pipelines and maintain our cloud-based data systems, while also contributing to the operational backend codebase that powers our healthcare platform. In this role, you will ensure that data is available to make meaningful business decisions and fulfill business reporting needs. You ensure a full data lifecycle ranging from collection, cleaning, maintenance, usage, and disposal. You work with other teams (business, finance, clinical) to understand their data needs and make information available to them.
