**Job Summary**
As a Senior Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to healthcare providers, resolving complex issues, and ensuring seamless communication. You will work closely with our team to resolve claims-related issues, answer questions, and provide guidance on our products and services. **Key Responsibilities**
* Review and research incoming healthcare claim calls from providers, navigating multiple computer systems and platforms to verify data and information necessary for processing
* Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues, documenting required information in computer systems
* Communicate and collaborate with providers to resolve issues, using clear, simple language to ensure understanding
* Meet performance goals established for the position in the areas of efficiency, accuracy, quality, and attendance
* Collaborate with the team to resolve complex issues and provide guidance on our products and services
**Essential Qualifications**
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Working knowledge of computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
* Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm CST, Monday – Friday
* Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 1 year of experience in a related environment (i.e., office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as primary job tools
* Healthcare experience
**Soft Skills**
* Ability to de-escalate calls, listen to customer needs, and respond appropriately with compassion and empathy
* Ability to multi-task for extended periods, managing calls while navigating multiple computer systems
* Ability to remain organized, focused, and productive on highly detailed repetitive tasks
* Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to independently research issues using multiple information sources
**Telecommuting Requirements**
* Reside within Central or Mountain Time Zone
* Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
* Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
* Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
