Harlem Children's Zone (HCZ) is a world-renowned education and poverty-fighting organization based in New York, seeking a Salesforce Administrator for the Research and Evaluation Department. The role involves providing day-to-day support, maintenance, and improvement of the enterprise-wide Salesforce instance, ensuring data quality and assisting in training power users. Responsibilities - Serve as primary system administrator for HCZ Salesforce users - Handle all basic administrative functions, including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, flows, and other routine tasks - Implement and enforce data quality best practices, including data cleaning and deduplication, to ensure accurate and reliable data within the Salesforce platform - Document key policies, procedures, best practices, and use cases specific to the organization - Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests - Perform data uploads with data acquired from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data integrity - Assist in training power users and grow the Salesforce skill set across all departments - Monitor and manage Salesforce integrations with other data systems - Design automated processes to improve efficiency with scale and lean design Skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a combination of relevant education and equivalent practical experience - 1+ years of work experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector, or have completed the Admin Beginner and Intermediate trail on Trailhead Salesforce Administrator certification - Strong understanding of Salesforce Administration best practices - Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, flows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity - Experience with data migration and data management tools (e.g., Demand Tools) - Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences - Strong data management abilities - Be an active Trailhead learner - Experience in Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) - Education Cloud - Marketing Cloud - Data Cloud - Analytics Cloud Benefits - Highly competitive base salaries - Paid time off - Employee referral bonus - Career Advancement - No-cost health insurance - Life Insurance - Short-and long-term disability - Additional voluntary benefits - Wellness discounts - Commuter benefits - Financial wellness perks - Additional Benefits (Discounts on flights, hotels, theme parks, concert tickets, and more.)
