Addison Group is partnering with our client, a healthcare organization, to hire a Revenue Cycle Analyst. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a fast-paced central billing office environment with strong potential for long-term growth.
Job Description:
The Revenue Cycle Analyst will play a key role in supporting both collections and revenue integrity initiatives. This position focuses on reviewing account activity, analyzing adjustment trends, and ensuring accuracy across the revenue cycle. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating insights to leadership.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of outpatient medical collections experience
Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes, including claims and reimbursement workflows
Experience working with fee schedules and payer contracts
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
Ability to clearly explain prior work experience and day-to-day responsibilities
Stable work history with demonstrated commitment to previous roles
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a daily workload of assigned claims while maintaining productivity expectations
Review and evaluate account adjustments, ensuring they meet internal approval guidelines
Analyze high-dollar accounts and document findings, including trends and root causes
Collaborate with leadership by providing regular updates and presenting monthly summaries
Support auditing efforts related to write-offs and adjustment activity
Identify patterns in billing or collections issues and assist with process improvement initiatives
Participate in special projects, including data analysis and reporting based on operational needs
