We are seeking an experienced and motivated sales professional to join our team. The Retail Sales Manager | eCommerce and Walmart will be charged with expanding assortment, sales and profitability of Roland Foods’ business with Amazon, Walmart (and Walmart.com) and other eCommerce customers. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to develop customer specific strategies, and execute those strategies both independently and through cross-functional partnership and management of our brokerage partners. This position will report to the Senior Director Retail Sales. RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Manage all aspects of Roland Foods’ business on Amazon.com and Walmart.com, including but not limited to: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Product assortment</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Product listings and content</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Marketing, advertising and promotional strategy</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Pricing, in partnership with Roland Foods’ Revenue Management team</li> </ul> </li> </ul> Manage and grow Roland’s portfolio, including Private Label, within Walmart while launching a comprehensive assortment on Walmart.com <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Build relationships with Walmart merchants, product developers and quality assurance teams in Roland Foods’ categories</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Conduct regular business reviews and provide analytics to support Roland Foods’ performance in Walmart</li> </ul> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Manage brokerage partners by creating and measuring key performance indicators that reflect the company’s overall goals</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Promote and advance Roland Foods’ eCommerce presence by identifying and executing new customers and platforms</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Maintain accurate and timely forecasts for volume and trade spending</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate internally working closely cross-functionally with our Revenue Management, Customer Operations, Marketing and Creative, Supply Chain and Finance, and Supply Chain functions</li> </ul> QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Required <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">3–5+ years of relevant sales experience within Mass and eCommerce channels</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Proven ability to sell online while managing digital marketing, customer experience and product listings</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to understand, manage, and grow a complex business or product portfolio</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrated success achieving breakthrough results by overcoming roadblocks</li> </ul> Preferred <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Passion for and curiosity about international foods and global cuisines</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Prior experience owning and managing Walmart and/or Amazon business.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience managing branded and private label assortment.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong negotiation skills</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Resourceful mindset with the ability to make an impact with limited resources</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience managing brokerage partners</li> </ul> SALARY RANGE Roland Foods hires exceptional people to perform a wide variety of important functions that contribute to the success of the Company. One of the ways Roland Foods does that is through a competitive compensation package. The base salary for this role will be $120,000 - $135,000. This role is bonus eligible.
