Reservations Agent | Luxury Private Game Reserve | Remote

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a detail-oriented and guest-focused Reservations Agent for a luxury private game reserve. This remote-based role is ideal for an organised individual with a passion for high-end travel, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage reservations with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all reservation enquiries via phone, email, and booking platforms with professionalism and warmth
- Manage reservations from initial enquiry through to confirmation, ensuring accurate system input
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and direct guests
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Upsell lodge experiences, private safaris, and additional services to maximise revenue
- Stay up to date with packages, operational updates, and conservation initiatives
- Manage booking amendments, cancellations, and special requests efficiently
- Ensure deposits, invoicing, and payment follow-ups are aligned with company policies
- Assist with reporting, audits, and database management
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a reservations role within luxury hospitality or the safari industry
- Proficiency in reservations systems such as ResRequest, PANStrat, Opera, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
- Passion for African travel, conservation, and exceptional guest service
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Understanding of the travel trade and global tourism market is advantageous
