[Remote] Senior Palo Alto Security Architect, 6 Months Initial, Remote

Revolution Technologies is seeking a Senior Palo Alto Security Architect to design and refine low-level firewall and segmentation implementations. The role involves validating and improving current Palo Alto designs across various environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions. Responsibilities • Design and refine low-level firewall and segmentation implementations based on an existing high-level security architecture • Validate and improve current Palo Alto designs across cloud, virtual, and physical environments • Work extensively with Palo Alto Prisma (Cloud, Access, Browser), VM-Series, Panorama, and Strata Cloud Manager (SCM) • Support both cloud and on-prem firewall architectures (AWS / Azure exposure required) • Collaborate cross-functionally with security, network, and infrastructure teams to deliver production-ready solutions • Work directly at the CLI / command-line level, including scripting related to SCM and firewall operations • Contribute to network security design involving BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, LACP, and virtualization concepts Skills • US Citizenship required due to the nature of work in this position • Design and refine low-level firewall and segmentation implementations based on an existing high-level security architecture • Validate and improve current Palo Alto designs across cloud, virtual, and physical environments • Work extensively with Palo Alto Prisma (Cloud, Access, Browser), VM-Series, Panorama, and Strata Cloud Manager (SCM) • Support both cloud and on-prem firewall architectures (AWS / Azure exposure required) • Collaborate cross-functionally with security, network, and infrastructure teams to deliver production-ready solutions • Work directly at the CLI / command-line level, including scripting related to SCM and firewall operations • Contribute to network security design involving BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, LACP, and virtualization concepts • Very senior Palo Alto experience (architect-level, not just operations) • Strong hands-on knowledge of Panorama and SCM (required) • Deep understanding of virtualization and cloud security • Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure (expert-level not required) • Ability to script and troubleshoot at the command line (Bash/CLI) • Solid networking fundamentals (routing, segmentation, overlays) • Practical experience > certifications • Certifications are nice to have, not required Company Overview • Revolution Technologies is a staffing and recruiting company that offers contract staff augmentation and permanent staffing solutions.
