We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to support data analysis, validation, and quality assurance activities within a network reliability analytics team.
Responsibilities
- Perform data collection, validation, and reconciliation activities to support the accuracy and quality of analytical outputs
- Execute structured analysis in Excel, including pivot tables, filters, formulas, and basic aggregations
- Run predefined and moderately customized SQL queries to support data extraction and analysis
- Assist with the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and visual outputs in Tableau and MicroStrategy
- Follow established checklists, workflows, and validation procedures to confirm that data and results are complete and consistent
- Identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and data quality issues, and escalate findings appropriately
- Document processes, definitions, and validation steps so that work can be repeated confidently and consistently
- Support senior and mid-level analysts in preparing data for deeper analysis and troubleshooting investigations
- Build familiarity with Python through reading, troubleshooting, and gradually supporting lightweight analytical tasks where appropriate
- Demonstrate an AI-aware mindset by using approved tools to improve efficiency, organization, and first-pass analysis
- Collaborate with team members to deliver accurate, timely work and maintain strong quality standards
Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, quality assurance, business intelligence support, or a related role
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, filtering, and general data manipulation
- Basic proficiency in SQL and comfort running and adapting standard queries
- Familiarity with Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar business intelligence and reporting tools
- Exposure to Python is preferred, with willingness to learn how to read and debug simple code or scripts
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work within structured processes while continuing to learn and expand analytical capability
- Ability to collaborate effectively with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders
- Experience working with large or complex datasets
- Exposure to data validation, reconciliation, QA workflows, or reporting support
- Interest in growing into more advanced analytics, SQL, Python, and business intelligence work
- Exposure to telecom, network operations, or technical support data is a plus
