They are seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Manager to identify prospective partners, build relationships, and create value propositions that benefit both Fi and its partners.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify prospective partners across the US and European markets
- Research target companies, map decision-makers, and build personalized outreach
- Surface asymmetric opportunities and bring deal concepts to leadership with clear framing: why this partner, why now, what's in it for Fi
- Find the leverage points in a prospective partner's business and build a compelling mutual value proposition
- Draft outreach, pitch decks, and early-stage deal frameworks
- Manage early pipeline conversations and warm opportunities for senior leadership
- Own day-to-day management of the partnerships you bring in; track performance, flag issues proactively, and ensure both sides are delivering
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing relationships
- Build internal tools and automate repetitive workflows to operate at leverage far above your title
- Create scalable systems for prospecting, tracking, and managing partnerships
- Stay ahead of the curve on AI tools relevant to BD and bring new capabilities to the team
Skills
- 1-3 years in BD or partnerships, or equivalent demonstrated hustle; startup or high-ownership environment experience strongly preferred
- AI-native: you use AI as a force multiplier, building automations, writing prompts, thinking in systems. This is already how you work
- A natural hunter who finds opportunities, qualifies them, and creates momentum from nothing
- Analytically sharp: you can read a business model, find the leverage points, and see where Fi fits in ways most people miss
- A strong communicator: crisp, confident, and tailored whether you're writing to a Fortune 500 VP or a first-time founder
- Genuinely passionate about dogs, technology, and building things that have impact
