Overview: The Regulatory Risk Support position is responsible for assisting the Regulatory Risk Division with BSA and Compliance requirements necessary to achieve and maintain a satisfactory level of BSA compliance, safety, and soundness. This position also performs general administrative duties for the Director of BSA and Compliance. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: - Administrative Support:- Prepare Board/Management Committee packages and division reports. - Maintain tracking spreadsheets and reconcile department budgets. - Manage expense reports, invoices, and training logs. - Update organizational charts and Business Continuity Plan listings. - Compile and distribute the division’s semi-annual newsletter.   - Regulatory Risk Operations:- Conduct due diligence and research using WorldCheck, LexisNexis, and internet sources. - Serve as Foreign Correspondent Banking Governance Committee as Secretary. - Assist with BSA/AML/OFAC Risk Assessment research and documentation.   - BSA Compliance:- Coordinate case assignments and maintain RFI logs. - Upload SAR confirmations and maintain tracking reports.   - Beneficial Ownership & Monitoring:- Perform daily CDD Rule reviews and monitor Independent ATM customers. - Conduct manual monitoring reviews across various risk categories (e.g., loans, credit cards, virtual currency). - Analyze AML alerts and perform customer research using internal and external sources.   - Cross-Divisional Support:- Fill in during peak workloads or staff absences. - Serve as a backup to the Compliance secretary. - Participate in special projects to gain exposure across key areas of Regulatory Risk. Qualifications: Education/Experience: Requirements - Associate’s degree or equivalent in a related field of study such as Business and four (4) years of banking experience; two (2) of those years related experience directly working in regulatory risk, compliance or BSA. Combination of education and experience will be considered.   Skills & Competencies - Must be self-motivated and detail oriented. - Ability to work in a team environment.  - Ability to handle confidential information.  - Must be able to take direction and maintain a necessary level of communication with varying supervisors/managers. - Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills.   - Computer knowledgeable in MS Office Software, (Excel, Word, and Outlook, Power Point).   Preferences - Knowledge of banking laws and regulations, such as the Bank Secrecy Act/AML and Patriot Act.   - Experience with research tools such as WorldCheck, LexisNexis, and internet-based sources.   Licenses/Certifications - None   Job Posting Locations: In this role you can work remote from Miami, Florida, United States
