QuickBooks Online Setup & Monthly Bookkeeping – Two Small Businesses (Real Estate + Sauna Rental) - Contract to Hire

I am looking for an experienced bookkeeper to help me set up and maintain QuickBooks Online for two very small, straightforward businesses: • Juneau Sauna RentalLLC – mobile sauna rental business • Seaside Leasing LLC – real estate ownership and rental This is a simple, low-volume operation. I am a one-person business owner who has downsized from a larger company and want clean, accurate books without unnecessary complexity. Primary Needs: QuickBooks Online Setup (from scratch) Create and properly structure two separate companies Chart of accounts setup Connect bank feeds and credit cards Ensure system is clean and easy to maintain Monthly Bookkeeping & Maintenance Reconcile multiple checking accounts Reconcile credit cards Enter and categorize bills / expenses Keep QuickBooks current (monthly updates) Sales Tax Tracking & Filing Track monthly local sales tax Prepare figures for filing/payment Ensure compliance and accuracy General Data Entry & Accuracy Expense coding Basic reporting as needed Business Characteristics: low transaction volume No payroll at this time No inventory Simple income and expense structure What I’m Looking For: Strong QuickBooks Online experience Able to set up books correctly from the beginning Detail-oriented and reliable Comfortable working with small businesses Clear communicator Engagement Style: I expect bookkeeping work to occur roughly once per month after initial setup. This is an ongoing relationship for the right person.
