Practice Coach - Dental Business Per Diem Position at Benco Dental Position Summary This Practice Coach - Dental Business Per Diem position is responsible for supporting the growth and ambitions of Benco's customers by delivering Practice Coaching curriculum and services. They will remotely deliver Benco's Revenue Analysis Consultation (RAC) and business curriculum for in‑office coaching contracts (in person at customer locations). They will also execute on‑site Practice Assessments to evaluate dental practices, identify opportunities, develop implementation plans, and help secure sales of ongoing coaching contracts. The right fit has robust experience in all aspects of dental practice management and operations; leadership experience is a plus. Practice Assessment and Coaching curriculum topics include Team and Culture, Systems and Optimization, Facility and Brand, and Growth and Financial Mastery. What’s in it for YOU? • Flexible/At Home Working • Associate Discounts and Community Giveback Programs • Caring Family Culture Toward all Associates • Certified as a FORTUNE Great Place to Work • Opportunities to join resource groups that promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion • Family owned for 95+ years Do YOU Possess These Skills and Attributes? • Outstanding verbal/written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to quickly connect to build trust and rapport • Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills • Ability to quickly grasp relevant concepts that will ultimately be taught to customers • Ability to read the room and meet customers/teams where they are, delivering concepts in ways that are relevant and accessible • Possess drive and consistency to follow‑up on services and coaching deliverables to ensure understanding, compliance, and demonstrated results • Skilled in basic computer systems and remote work, with the ability to prepare virtual presentations and deliver them fluently via Zoom/Teams • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the expertise to analyze data/feedback and turn it into actionable items • Sound grasp of dental scheduling systems, financials, KPIs, and goal‑setting • Excellent phone and virtual meeting etiquette • Openness to learning and growing with a continuous improvement mindset • Desire to thrive and collaborate as part of a growing team • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities • Flexibility is required to accommodate customer schedules Do YOU Meet These Requirements? • High School Diploma or equivalent • 4-6 years of dental business/practice management experience • Ability to travel up to 4 times per month • Ability to work up to 19 hours per week Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU? • Evaluate and assess practices to identify strengths and areas of opportunity, helping with coaching contract sales throughout the process • Quickly analyze data and team climate to present findings and create implementation plans • Work with customers and Clinical Coach peers to align on topics and dates for in‑person coaching delivery and virtual follow‑ups, in accordance with guidelines on cadence • Host monthly calls with clients to check in and take pulse on improvements; offer tools to help with adoption and accountability • Help practices implement systems that optimize patient care and satisfaction while growing revenue and profitability of the practice • Drive sustainable, measurable, and profitable growth through rigor and monthly review of the practice KPIs • Monitor P&L statements for each practice and develop effective ways to close the gaps between actual performance and company projections • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with dental team in order to influence and nurture long‑standing relationships • Write and deliver comprehensive recaps/progress reports after each customer visit • Maintain organized and detailed customer records in accordance with the protocols • Help shape and evolve curriculum so that it remains relevant and forward‑thinking • Maintain customer confidentiality Who We Are: It’s our Mission to Drive Dentistry Forward Benco Dental is the largest privately owned, full‑service dental distributor in the United States.
