Job Summary:
The Patient Access Scheduling & Communications Coordinator II (PASCC II) independently executes a wide range of scheduling, registration, and communication functions within the centralized Patient Access call center. This role requires to be advanced, critical thinking and to analyze provider orders, transcribe clinical communications, and coordinate complex outpatient services. It proactively resolves issues, consults with clinical teams, and contributes to process improvements. With moderate to limited supervision, the role ensures accurate documentation, triages urgent inquiries, and supports departmental goals through operational coordination and informed decision-making.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year experience in a call center, patient registration and/ or patient scheduling, plus 1 year related customer service experience
- Three (3) months of relevant patient access and/ or scheduling experience at Moffitt Cancer Center plus 1 year of related customer service experience.
- High School Diploma/GED
