WORK OPTION: The NBA currently provides eligible employees the option of working remotely one day per week. _________________ Position Summary: This position is part of the NBA Social & Digital Content team, which creates, distributes, and publishes content across the NBA’s social and digital platforms. The role focuses on integrating NBA partner content and experiences into key channels, including NBA social platforms, NBA.com, NBA App, FAST Channels, and NBA TV. They should have a deep passion for the NBA and stay current on storylines by engaging with content such as podcasts, message boards, and both short- and long-form NBA coverage. Major Responsibilities: Lead the Partner Integration function, overseeing the integration of NBA partner content and experiences across key channels, including NBA social platforms, NBA.com, NBA App, FAST Channels, and NBA TV for more than 60 global partners Develop and execute major branded content campaigns for some of the world’s most recognized brands, publishing across one of the largest social media audiences in sports Manages team members by providing clear, constructive feedback through regular development-focused conversations, ensuring alignment with performance expectations and identifying growth opportunities Collaborate closely with the Partnerships team to manage relationships with account managers and participate in brand pitches as needed Work hand-in-hand with production teams to create content packages, establish rates and timelines, and streamline processes to ensure alignment and timely execution Drive operational excellence by improving productivity and communication workflows, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and executing against deadlines Build strong relationships across publishing, streaming, creator, and broadcast teams to develop, distribute, and publish branded content at scale Serve as a subject matter expert in marketing branded content and commerce-driven experiences across all NBA platforms Analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategies and drive continued growth in branded content engagement and revenue Required Skills/Knowledge: 10+ years of experience leading branded content strategy and integrations and/or general content strategy across social and digital, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing large-scale campaigns for global brands Executive-level leadership skills, including experience managing cross-functional teams and overseeing complex, multi-platform initiatives in a fast-paced environment Expertise in strategic planning and content monetization, with deep knowledge of emerging trends in branded content, social commerce, and social and digital engagement Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally Advanced project management and organizational capabilities, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns across multiple platforms and tight timelines Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret performance metrics and apply insights to optimize branded content strategies for engagement and revenue growth Proficiency in developing creative briefs, mocks, and executive-level presentations, guiding teams to deliver best-in-class content experiences Deep passion for the NBA and its culture, with a strong understanding of fan engagement and the ability to translate that into innovative branded content opportunities Ability to work collaboratively as a team player, fostering strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders Flexibility to work a variable schedule, potentially including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the NBA calendar and business needs Education: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Marketing or related field preferred Employees currently are eligible to receive an annual discretionary performance bonus, awarded at the sole discretion of the Company and subject to any terms and conditions set by the Company.
