Part-Time Remote Registered Dietitian (New Mexico License required)

RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team in a fully remote, part-time role supporting a Food is Medicine program. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the early development and implementation phase of the program.
In the initial stages, a significant portion of your work will focus on building out medically tailored menus and reviewing grocery options to ensure they meet clinical and program requirements. As the program grows, responsibilities will transition to include more direct patient-facing work such as nutrition assessments and counseling.
This is an ongoing contract opportunity offering flexible scheduling and meaningful, patient-centered work.
Position Details
- 15–20 hours per week
- 100% remote (work from anywhere)

- Full onboarding and training provided
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a New Mexico dietitian license
What You’ll Do
- Develop and review medically tailored menus and grocery offerings in alignment with clinical guidelines
- Ensure nutrition plans meet program, safety, and regulatory standards
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments (as the program ramps up)
- Provide virtual nutrition counseling and education
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans
- Document all services in compliance with program requirements
- Collaborate with care teams and support program development
Compensation
- $30–$38 per hour, based on experience
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)
- Active New Mexico license (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with diabetes, maternal health, or chronic disease strongly preferred
- Experience with menu development or food service systems is a plus
- Comfortable working in a developing, fast-paced program environment
