About Televeda: Televeda is a social impact company on a mission to reduce social isolation and increase digital equity through technology and human connection. We partner with governments and health plans to deliver digital literacy training, wellness programs, and virtual events to underserved communities. Position Overview: We’re looking for an English & Spanish speaking, ,dedicated, tech-savvy, and community-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Digital Navigator. The role involves providing in-person and remote digital literacy support to older adults, individuals with disabilities, and underserved populations. This role combines technical knowledge with exceptional interpersonal skills to help members overcome technology barriers and confidently access healthcare resources. We strongly encourage applications from individuals with peer support certification, veterans, those with healthcare experience, and individuals from or with experience serving tribal and rural communities. Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one and group training to teach digital skills such as internet use, video calling, email, online safety, and accessing healthcare and social services. • Assist with outreach and onboarding individuals onto Televeda's platform. • Engaging Members post-onboarding • Offer technical support in person, by phone, and through virtual platforms. • Collaborate with team members on workshops, outreach events, and content creation. • Maintain detailed documentation, data collection, and reporting for program evaluation. • Represent Televeda at tabling events, trainings, and partner sites • Stay informed about digital trends to improve training methods. • Assist members with downloading, installing, and using health-related apps • Guide individuals through patient portal registration and navigation • Support telehealth platform setup and appointment access • Teach digital security best practices and privacy protection • Provide emotional support and encouragement to members • Guide members through Health Risk Assessment completion • Assist with benefits portal navigation and resource identification • Connect members to appropriate health plan resources and community services • Maintain HIPAA compliance in all member interactions • Complete accurate and timely documentation in Monday.com / CRM system • Participate in ongoing training and professional development Preferred Qualifications: • English and Spanish proficiency • Experience working with vulnerable or marginalized populations. • Healthcare or social services background • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to teach people with diverse learning styles. • Comfortable with technology and tools like video calls, streaming, email, and mobile devices. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Ability to remain calm and positive when addressing member frustrations • Time management and ability to handle multiple calls efficiently Education / Work Experience • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred • 2 years customer service or call center experience Technical Skills • Proficiency with smartphones (iOS and Android), tablets, and computers • Comfortable navigating various apps, websites, and digital platforms • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues remotely • Experience with CRM systems and documentation software Employment Details: • Part-Time (Flexible hours, approximately 30 hours/week) • Travel reimbursement provided, as needed • Opportunities for growth within Televeda’s expanding community programs
