Operating Partner (Part-Time, Equity-Based) – Future COO Pathway Location: South Florida preferred Language: Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a strong advantage Compensation: Equity-based until funding is secured Commitment: Part-time, with potential transition to full-time COO About Mamaket Mamaket is a mission-driven startup building a transformative platform for immigrants, connecting people to their roots through festivals, food, and culture. We are in our early stages, pre-revenue, and pre-funding, but deeply committed to building a company that delivers impact at scale. We are seeking a dynamic Operating Partner who can help shape our strategic direction and potentially transition into the Chief Operating Officer (COO) role as we grow. This is a unique opportunity to join a purpose-led venture at the ground level and help build something meaningful from the inside out. Why Join Us? • Equity-based compensation with potential for future salary upon funding • Opportunity to transition into a full-time COO role • Be part of a founding team shaping a high-impact platform • Work closely with the CEO and CTO on strategic and operational execution • Influence the future of immigrant experiences through technology and culture Responsibilities • Help define and execute Mamaket’s operational strategy and growth roadmap • Support fundraising efforts and financial planning • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and vendors • Drive operational excellence across product, marketing, and customer experience • Collaborate with leadership to scale early-stage operations • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and impact • Prepare the organization for funding, hiring, and expansion Qualifications • Proven experience in startup operations, strategy, or venture building • Strong understanding of early-stage company dynamics and scaling challenges • Experience in fundraising, financial management, or investor relations • Passion for social impact, especially in education, workforce development, or immigrant communities • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Bilingual (Spanish/English) and/or based in South Florida is a strong plus • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred Ready to Build With Us?
