A+ Tutoring is hiring an experienced Online Math Tutor (Fully Remote) to support middle and high school students through personalized, one-on-one instruction.

Role Summary
As an Online Math Tutor (Fully Remote), you will:
• Provide engaging, one-on-one virtual instruction to middle and high school students
• Support learners across a wide variety of academic levels — from gifted to intervention-level
• Adapt lessons to align with state standards, classroom curriculum, and student goals
• Build strong academic foundations while increasing student confidence
• Maintain professional communication with families and our internal scheduling team

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver personalized 60-minute online math sessions
• Teach Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus (and related courses)
• Assess student needs and adjust instruction accordingly
• Align support with classroom standards and school pacing
• Provide detailed lesson notes after each session
• Foster student engagement and motivation
• Maintain consistent, professional communication
Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree (Education, Mathematics, or related field)
• Experience teaching or tutoring middle and/or high school math
• Experience working with a wide variety of learners — from gifted to intervention-level
• Strong understanding of standards-based math instruction
• Comfortable using online teaching platforms and technology
Preferred:
• Teaching credential
• Classroom teaching experience
• Experience working with charter school or homeschool students
• Background in honors, AP, or advanced math courses
Schedule & Workload
• Flexible 2–20 hours per week
• All lessons are 30 - 60 minutes long
• Fully remote — work from home
• Sessions scheduled based on your availability
