Northeast Campaign Manager – Offshore Wind Energy

Job Description: • Manage portions of state and regional Offshore Wind Energy campaigns • Support the development of select state and regional campaigns across New England, New York, and New Jersey • Manage the execution of campaign activities and tactics both virtually and in-person • Nurture existing partnerships and build relationships with new partners • Serve as a primary liaison to internal staff in the region • Represent NWF at coalition meetings, in the media, and directly to decision-makers • Facilitate internal and external education and information sharing on offshore wind transmission policy objectives • Collaborate with policy staff as needed to provide technical support to partners and coalitions • Fulfill limited administrative tasks as needed Requirements: • At least 5 years of relevant experience • Experience using inclusive approaches in organizing campaigns • Knowledge of or experience with advocating for policy solutions at the state level • Demonstrated experience utilizing environmental justice organizing principles • Strategic thinking and vision • Capably leads partners in articulating shared goals and strategies • Excellent writer and communicator • Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail Benefits: • Paid time off: Vacation that starts off at three weeks accrual based on a full-time schedule • Unlimited wellbeing (time for personal needs) • 11 holidays • Paid winter break between December 25 to January 1 • Up to 16 weeks of fully paid Family and Medical Leave • Low-cost health, dental, and vision insurance options • All outpatient mental health is covered at in-network rates • Therapist available at no cost • Pet insurance and discount perk program • Annual wellbeing allowance • Retirement plan with immediate match and vesting • Annual year end retirement contribution • Tuition Reimbursement • Adoption and Surrogacy assistance • Pet adoption stipend • Student Loan management
