In Australasia, our products can be found in most hardware stores, garden centres, nurseries and major retailers across Australasia, including; Bunnings Warehouse, Home Timber & Hardware, Mitre 10 and many more!
We are currently looking for a Merchandiser to join our Sales team in a fulltime role servicing our Garden Centres and Hardware Stores in Sydney Metro and surrounding areas. Some overnight regional travel monthly which will be paid for by AMES (1-2 nights).
The role responsibilities include:
- Calling on Garden Centers and Hardware stores in Sydney Metro area
- Effectively execute merchandising expectations
- Assisting with bay upgrades and relays
- Role will involve heavy lifting and manual handling
- Vacancy coverage for Sales team
Skills and experience
- Experience working within a nursery environment or a landscaping/trade background would be highly regarded.
- The confidence and ability to communicate with customers and build rapport
- Self-motivated individual who demonstrates an ability to work autonomously
- Strong time management skills & positive attitude
- Physically fit and able to climb ladders and handle stock
- A valid driver's license and reliable car
