Position Summary/Purpose: The purpose of this position is to assist the DMS team in the Digital Marketing Department with web-based projects that either are initiated within our team or funneled to us from the client service team.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- The primary focus of this role will be working on special internal projects to assist with lead generation such as assisting with Career Guides and other projects as assigned
Secondary/Potential Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Creating/updating event pages and/or employer partner pages as the client services team requests them
- Pulling and reporting military compliance reports monthly
- Reporting on and fixing broken links and misspellings on gcu.edu, subdomains of gcu.edu and other affiliated websites for our clients
- Running a monthly vanity renewal report and updating any applicable expiring/expired vanities as instructed by the client services team
- Assisting full-time DMS team members with administrative and reporting tasks
Equipment Used and Responsibility:
- MacBook Pro (provided by IT) – Password-protected device to be guarded whenever not in use for the position
- WorkDay – HR tool and official time clock
- Microsoft Office Suite – Various tools for communication and project tracking, including SharePoint
- Drupal and/or WordPress – Website CMS for making updates on webpages
- Workamajig – Project management system and project time tracking
- ClickUp – Project management system
- SiteImprove – Web-based tool for website health and copy searches
Qualifications:
- While this is a remote position, you must be located/reside in Phoenix, AZ or within 30-miles from campus
- Current GCU students enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in marketing, business, communications and/or similar concentrations
- Basic HTML knowledge a strong plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to work, learn and be flexible
Experience/Education Eligibility:

- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a bachelor’s program or master’s program
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a bachelor-level student or a 3.0 GPA as a master-level student
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University

Pay rate: Minimum wage
Weekly hours: can work up to 20 hours/week during the semester (minimum hours to work per week is 12) and there is potential to work up to 40 hours/week during prolonged breaks, such as summer months, for example
