Job Summary Join a dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Therapist operating as a 1099 contractor, offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to build your own caseload through telehealth services. In this role, you will provide expert psychotherapy and counseling to diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your work will focus on delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that empowers clients to achieve their personal goals. This position offers the freedom to create your own schedule while making a meaningful impact on individuals’ lives across various settings. Duties • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems for accurate patient documentation. • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). • Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to support clients experiencing acute mental health issues or emergencies. • Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to provide remote therapy sessions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining secure medical records. • Develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough patient care assessments, incorporating medical terminology and behavioral health best practices. • Engage in case management activities, coordinating with other healthcare providers and supporting research initiatives to enhance therapeutic outcomes. • Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, CPT coding for billing purposes, and adherence to HIPAA standards for confidentiality. Qualifications • Valid licensure as a Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent) with current state certification. • Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, and behavioral health interventions across diverse populations. • Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation tools and ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10). • Expertise in working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, and those experiencing PTSD or grief. • Familiarity with telehealth platforms, HIPAA compliance standards, and medical documentation procedures. • Skills in crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, behavior management strategies, and addiction counseling. • Experience with special education settings or outpatient clinics is highly desirable. • Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to work independently within a flexible schedule.
