Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Learning Designer to lead design for our new adaptive safety learning platform. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring people receive and build up their safety competence to ultimately reduce incidents and save lives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of instructional design principles, a strong background in developing training programs for sectors such as energy, manufacturing, and construction, and a proven ability to create content that meets compliance requirements. They should be innovative, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with our product and engineering teams. Key responsibilities:
Leading the design of safety learning adaptive and micro-learning modules on the web and 3D.
Collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
Utilizing instructional design principles to create engaging, effective, and interactive learning experiences.
Conducting needs assessments and gap analyses to identify training needs and opportunities for improvement.
Developing assessment tools and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve and innovate our training solutions.
Who are you?
A successful candidate will have the following skillsets and experience:
Proven experience in curriculum design, instructional design, learning design, or a related field..
Strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies.
Experience in developing engaging or interactive training programs that enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with subject matter experts, product teams, and other stakeholders.
Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools and platforms (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
