Anchor QEA is seeking a water resources engineer to help expand their water resources engineering practice in the Pacific Northwest. The role involves performing technical analyses and supporting the development of civil engineering design documents for various water resources and habitat restoration projects.
Responsibilities
- Performing technical analyses and supporting the development of civil engineering design documents for water resources management, water supply, water conveyance, water storage, stormwater, and habitat restoration projects
- Performing calculations and completing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling in support of water resources projects
- Preparing written reports and technical studies
- Supporting development of civil engineering design drawings, technical specifications, and opinions of probable cost
Skills
- Master's Degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering (or equivalent)
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- Washington PE or plan to obtain a Washington PE license within the next 3 years
- 1-4 years of experience in water resources planning, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and design and construction of water resources projects
- CAD drawing development (Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred)
- Experience with a diverse range of hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling and design software packages
- A willingness to work on a variety of tasks, ranging from hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to development of drawings, specifications, and opinions of probable cost for a variety of water resources, restoration, and environmental remediation projects
