JAVA Developer - Washington, DC (REMOTE)
Duration: 6 months
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain applications using Java 8 (or similar) and jQuery.
• Work with Oracle Commerce Products: ATG Web Commerce 11.4, Endeca Commerce 11.4, and Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 11.4.
• Perform application support tasks, including querying and analyzing database information, deploying environments to web and application servers, conducting load and performance testing, managing certificates, and monitoring server health.
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in Java 8 or similar versions.
• Web Development skills using React, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium or Playwright.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Knowledge of Oracle Commerce products: ATG Web Commerce 11.4, Endeca Commerce 11.4, Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 11.4.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using EBS Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, and Linux servers.
• Experience using Ansible for configuration management and automation.
Required Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years in software development.
Education: A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field is preferred.
