Thrive Group is a provider of integrated services aimed at helping individuals lead fulfilling lives. They are seeking an IT Support Technician responsible for providing customer service-focused technical support, managing user workstations, and assisting with the corporate website maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Providing timely, reliable, and customer-service focused resolution from receiving customer calls through to resolution
- Ensuring the proper functioning of user workstations, software, and peripherals
- Providing on-site and remote technical support to staff across all Thrive Group locations
- Setting up user accounts, permission, and access rights
- Performing data backup, security, and recovery functions as assigned
- Assisting with the maintenance of the corporate website
Skills
- Post-secondary diploma in computer sciences with basic knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft Exchange, SQL, and SharePoint required
- Good organizational, communication and written skills; and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment required
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Experience of current network hardware, protocols, and standards beneficial
- Previous experience building and maintaining web content preferred
- Able to manage multi concurrent projects
- After-hours work will be necessary due to project schedules, deadlines, and/or reliability issues
