Role Description
This role involves working as a Remote Contract LPN with flexibility in hours and the opportunity to make a significant clinical impact.
• Daily review of patient data (foot images, weight) from the Empo Remote Health Link web portal.
• Triage and escalate critical findings to supervising physicians or patients promptly.
• Conduct routine patient check-ins and adherence reminders for a caseload of up to 50 patients initially.
• Provide support for patients regarding their Empo devices, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation of all interactions.
• Professionally communicate with physicians/podiatrists regarding monitoring data and patient status.
Qualifications
• Accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a license in Virginia.
• Must be based near the Roanoke/Blacksburg, VA area.
• Experience working with diabetic patients.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly learn new clinical protocols.
• Reliable laptop capable of running modern software and browsers.
Requirements
• Highly tech-savvy and proficient with digital tools, cloud software, and online portals.
• Comfortable with documentation and system usage beyond basic office software.
