Freelance Pinterest Growth Marketer (Remote | 40 Hours/Month) - Contract to Hire

Apply Now
We are looking for an experienced Pinterest Marketer to help scale our Art & Design blog into a profitable niche. We currently have viral pins driving significant traffic, but we need a Pinterest specialist to bridge the gap between "clicks" and "conversions." Your mission is two-fold: • For a start, help us increase our current Pinterest traffic by at least 10X and... • Provide strategic advice on how or what to optimize on our Pinterest and blog to turn that traffic into affiliate sales and digital product leads. But fret not; we view this as a team effort. We will work closely with you, sharing insights and learning from one another to achieve these milestones as a team. Our Goals: • Multiply Pinterest-driven traffic by 10–30x over time • Improve conversion rates on existing blog posts • Turn Pinterest traffic into higher affiliate sales and digital product revenue • Develop a strategic, data-driven Pinterest growth system (not random pinning) • We already have several viral Pins driving strong traffic to our blog — but conversions are low. We need someone who can audit performance, identify gaps, and advise us on how to improve both content and monetization alignment. Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Pinning: Publish 20–30 engaging pins (that convert) per week across graphic design, typography, UI/web, and art & illustration content. • Pinterest SEO: Conduct keyword research and clustering to boost visibility for both inspiration and buyer-intent searches. • Alignment: Ensure pin designs and descriptions align with our monetization goals. • Progress Tracking: Monitor weekly performance (CTR, saves, clicks) and share findings so we can double-down or improve our strategy together. Requirements: • Experience: 2–3+ years of experience in Pinterest Marketing with a focus on blog growth. • SEO Savvy: Strong understanding of Pinterest’s search algorithm and user intent. • Design Eye: Ability to create engaging pins that resonate with the Art & Design community. • Communication: A team-player attitude—willing to give and receive feedback on content. • Portfolio: Please share at least one case study or example of a successful Pinterest campaign you have managed. • Work Commitment: Willing to spend at least 10 hrs/per week or 40hrs/per month, for the next 3–6 months for the job role. Incentive: • We offer a Monthly Bonus of USD$25 (after 3–6 months evaluation period) as we begin to see consistent improvements in traffic and conversions. As we grow together and hit higher revenue milestones, we are open to discussing further job opportunities and performance rewards on a long-term basis. Interview Questions: 1. We have pins that went viral and driving good traffic to some of our blog posts, but they aren't converting well yet. What are the first thing you check to see why traffic isn't converting? 2. To achieve a 10x increase in traffic, what would your priorities be in the first 30 days of a Pinterest campaign? 3. Can you walk us through the case study you provided? What was the biggest challenge in that project and how did you overcome it? 4. What tools do you use for pinning, scheduling and analytics, and how do you stay updated on Pinterest’s algorithm changes? Only candidates who have answered all of the above interview questions will be considered. Thank you for your time!
