Job Summary
As a Travel Claims & Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in setting the tone for fulfilling our promise of providing exceptional service to our claimants and callers. You will be responsible for taking the first reports of claims, initiating the claims process, and using your independent judgment and communication skills to obtain information and determine if coverage exists. This is a front-line position in our Travel department, and your ability to deliver exceptional customer service will be crucial in building trust and loyalty with our clients.
Primary Responsibilities
- Independently process travel claims in accordance with associated policies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of claims processing.
- Read, analyze, and interpret general business materials, technical procedures, benefit plans, and regulations to make informed decisions about claims.
- Handle incoming calls from and make outgoing calls to claimants and suppliers in a professional, positive, and proactive manner, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Consistently meet established performance standards, including quantity and quality claims processing standards, to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service.
- Maintain current knowledge of plans and effectively apply this knowledge to the payment of claims, customer service, and all other job functions, ensuring that our clients receive accurate and timely information.
- Function independently within established guidelines, using your judgment and initiative to resolve issues and make decisions about claims.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance, ensuring that all sensitive information is handled in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

The total compensation for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered, such as a discretionary bonus. The expected base hourly pay range for this position is between $16.85 - $21.65, depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
