**Job Description**
As a Team Lead - Data Entry, you will be responsible for overseeing data entry operations, providing leadership to Leads, Specialists, and temporary staff, and ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency. This role partners closely with leadership to plan and implement workflows, manage performance, and identify areas for continuous improvement. The Team Lead supports strategic initiatives, process updates, and technology adoption while maintaining a hands-on understanding of operational needs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead daily operations, managing data entry teams through coordination of priorities, resources, and shifting workloads.
* Provide direction, mentorship, and performance support to Lead Data Entry Specialists and staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
* Oversee hiring, training, and development of seasonal and full-time staff, ensuring readiness and knowledge retention across teams.
* Drive process optimization efforts in partnership with leadership and cross-functional teams, incorporating automation or system upgrades as applicable.
* Analyze productivity and quality metrics, identify trends or risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures while reinforcing data integrity, security, and compliance standards.
* Represent the team in cross-departmental meetings, leadership forums, and special projects, offering insight and advocating for operational needs.
* Develop training plans, evaluate team capabilities, and build internal pipelines for advancement and skill growth.
* Act as primary escalation point for complex data entry issues and staffing challenges.
* Serve as acting supervisor during higher leadership absences, supporting departmental continuity.
**Education and Experience:**
* Degree preferred but not required with commensurate leadership experience.
* 2–4 years in a Lead role within Data Entry or equivalent role.
* 0–2 years of formal leadership experience (team supervision, project management, or department coordination).
**Competencies - Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:**
* Advanced data entry skills with strong accuracy and speed (alpha, numeric, 10-key).
* High proficiency in computer systems and data platforms, with readiness to adapt to new tools and technology.
* Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and implement training strategies.
* Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operations.
* Demonstrated ability to manage confidential data with integrity and discretion.
* Skilled in coaching, conflict resolution, and decision-making.

* Competitive salary range: $59,000 - $61,000 per year.
