About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Browser Extension team, where you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining Keeper's browser extension features using JavaScript, React, Redux, Jest, and other technologies. As a seasoned developer, you will leverage your expertise to drive high-quality solutions, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the growth and improvement of our existing code base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Keeper Browser Extension features using JavaScript, React, Redux, Jest, and other technologies, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
- Participate in code reviews and project reviews, providing constructive feedback and insights to enhance the quality and efficiency of our solutions
- Maintain and improve the existing code base, ensuring it remains scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely and effective delivery of solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in JavaScript, browser extension development, and related technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within our team
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, demonstrating a deep understanding of its ecosystem and applications
- 3+ years of experience with TypeScript, React, Jest, and Redux, with a strong portfolio of projects showcasing your expertise
- Working knowledge of browser extension development, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining browser extensions
- Due to this role's involvement in GovCloud, all applicants must be a US Person, defined as a U.S. citizen or a Lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder)
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable Engineering discipline, providing a solid foundation in software development principles and practices
- Experience with agile development methodologies, version control systems, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
