Our company culture is built on the principles of teamwork, innovation, and customer-centricity, and we are always looking for talented individuals who share our values and are eager to contribute to our success. **Responsibilities** As an Experienced Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: * Managing a steady volume of incoming calls regarding Benefits from members, providers, and employer groups * Explaining and clarifying plans' policies and procedures * Actively attempting to resolve member or provider concerns, which may include contacting other appropriate parties to facilitate the resolution of such concerns and adequately documenting the information on the billing system * Investigating verbal complaints concerning billing, claims or service rendered * Escalating complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation * Maintaining current knowledge of Member Services policies and procedures * Performing other work-related duties as assigned **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need: * High school diploma, GED, or college degree * At least 1 year of Call Center experience (preferably in the healthcare industry) * 1 year of face-to-face customer service experience * Knowledge of and prior experience in the Dental, Medical or Managed Care industry (preferred) * Self-motivation, resourcefulness, detail-oriented, sense of accountability, and ability to work as a team player * Strong skills in organizational, time management, written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet Explorer * Effective communication skills over the phone * Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations * Successful completion of background check **Equipment and Workspace Requirements** * We provide all equipment (Computer, Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard, Headset, Ethernet Cord, Power Cables) * You must have a home internet connection of 10 Download and 3 Upload Speed (you may do a quick check through) * You must be able to hardwire your work computer directly to your home modem via ethernet * Ensure the available connection meets the minimum bandwidth requirements to perform your job function * Satellite internet and wireless internet are not acceptable * You must have a distraction-free and secure work environment (Workspace must be clutter-free, free of distraction, no one is allowed in workspace during working hours, no writing utensils, or unauthorized electronics in the work area) **Training and Development** * You will undergo a 5-week classroom training program and 2 weeks of nesting * You will be required to successfully complete a mandatory paid training program with 100% attendance * You will have opportunities for growth and development within the healthcare team **Compensation and Benefits** * The pay rate is $16 per hour * Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available on the 1st day of employment * Paid time off is accrued after 180 days (about 6 months) of employment * You may be eligible for a bonus or incentive based on business need **Work Environment and Culture** * You will be working in a remote environment, but you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team * You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences * You will be encouraged to contribute to the growth and development of the company and to share your ideas and perspectives **How to Apply** The application process will take less than 20 minutes and includes everything required to be considered.
