What You'll Do
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Workwarp, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and ECS/EKS. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, quality assurance, and operations, to align priorities and deliver integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership and Architectural Guidance: Lead by example, demonstrating a deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Provide architectural guidance and design oversight, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
- Code Quality and Review: Establish and enforce coding standards, code review processes, and quality assurance practices. Conduct regular code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members to improve code quality, readability, and maintainability.
- AWS Expertise and Cloud Architecture: Utilize your expertise in AWS services to architect and implement scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions. Design and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and ECS/EKS.
- Project Planning and Execution: Drive project execution, identifying key milestones, dependencies, and resourcing, monitoring progress, addressing impediments, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, quality assurance, and operations, to align priorities and deliver integrated solutions.
Essential Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Software Development as a software engineer
- Strong technical skills in programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript
- Extensive experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and proficiency in cloud architecture design and implementation
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Git)
- Solid fundamental background in multiple testing disciplines (e.g., APIs, Functional UI testing, Performance testing, data-oriented systems testing, distributed systems, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a similar math or engineering discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and ECS/EKS
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA, Git
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
