**Job Summary:**
arenaflex is seeking an experienced Full Stack Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, USA. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing data engineering solutions that drive business growth and innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design data architectures, and implement data pipelines that enable data-driven decision-making.
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, and implement data engineering solutions that meet business requirements and drive data-driven decision-making
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design data architectures, and implement data pipelines
* Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics
* Design and implement data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data migration and data quality
* Develop and maintain data quality and data governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
* Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data visualization and reporting solutions
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and apply knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
* Mentor and train junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge in data engineering
* Participate in code reviews and ensure that code is maintainable, efficient, and follows best practices
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing data pipelines and data architectures
* Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data lakes
* Experience with data integration and ETL processes, including data migration and data quality
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
* Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
* Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing data pipelines and data architectures
* Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark
* Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB or Cassandra
* Experience with data governance and data quality processes
* Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as D3.js or Matplotlib
* Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as Google Cloud or IBM Cloud
* Strong experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
**Skills and Competencies:**
* Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
* Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data lakes
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
