**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Bookkeeping team on a full-time, remote basis. As a Senior GL Bookkeeper, you'll work closely with our team to drive process improvements and ensure accurate financial reporting. You'll be responsible for planning and preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations, as well as providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions. **Key Responsibilities**
* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for assigned areas of the general ledger
* Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for assigned functional areas
* Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
* Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly audits
* Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders regarding significant accounting matters
* Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives
**What We're Looking For**
* Self-motivated and independent – able to think critically, innovatively, and entrepreneurially
* A "make it happen" attitude – able to handle pressure well and be modest and resilient
* Sharp business acumen and process-oriented
* Data-driven and unafraid to dig down to the lowest level of detail for truth and high level of accuracy
* Excellent communication, oral, and written skills, including strong proficiency in English
* Strong analytical and time management skills
* 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
* Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification an asset
* Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage and process large amounts of data
