About the Role
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst at Blithequark, you will play a crucial role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within our Quality Control division. You will analyze data to identify trends, develop insights, and provide recommendations to improve processes and mitigate risks. Your expertise will help us achieve our organizational goals, including maintaining low costs, modernizing our operations, and enhancing compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team with timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements.
- Help develop and communicate results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
- Assist in addressing critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide insightful answers to enable senior leadership to make informed business decisions.
- Present findings, trends, and potential implications using data visualization tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding.
- Help develop and distribute specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and validating the need for data requirements.
- Identify anomalies in processes through audits/surveys and communicate findings to the team.
- Assess the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors.
- Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
- May perform other job duties as directed by the Team Lead.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or QuickBase.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Prior internship or work experience in a related field.
- Experience with PowerPoint and presentation development.
- Completion of relevant coursework or capstone projects in data analysis or a related field.
