Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our team on a remote basis. As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data to identify trends and performance metrics, developing and presenting recommendations for process improvements, and mitigating risks through data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements.
- Help create and communicate results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
- Assist in addressing critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide analytical answers to enable senior leadership to make business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities.
- Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to support the relevant points of the analysis and ease stakeholder understanding.
- Help develop and distribute specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and validating the need of the data requirements.
- Identify anomalies in processes through reviews/audits and communicate findings to the team.
- Assess the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors.
- Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
- May perform other job responsibilities as directed by the Team Lead.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proficient ability to gather, organize, and analyze critical measures of data with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas and present information in writing, verbally, or through presentations delivered to discussions of varying audiences.
- Ability to assess business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively in a strong team-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively and be a self-starter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase.
- Experience with PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications.
- Prior internship experience in a related field.
- Capstone projects and analysis coursework.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information properly.
- Experience in planning and supporting large business initiatives.
