About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to join our retail IT team. As a Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding client requirements, grasping the needs of group/space-specific systems, performing technical system and data analysis, developing specifications that address both UI and data interface requirements, communicating with vendors on technical issues, providing input to technical plans, and assisting with the implementation of group/space-specific applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and conveys complex cross-functional business requirements and process flows.
- Performs gap analysis between as-is and to-be processes, and makes recommendations on areas for continuous process improvement.
- Executes and drives the development of technical specifications by working collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams, translating functional designs into technical plans, validating macro plans, and reviewing micro plans.

- Designs, develops, and executes testing protocols to include: unit testing, integration testing, and system testing, as driven by the requirements.
- Performs systems and data analysis to understand functional design requirements and determine how the system should function and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will impact results.
- Assists colleagues in developing and fostering the skills necessary to understand application concepts and tool suite.
- Leads, defines, drives, and executes on a case-by-case basis, the implementation of setups across applications and interfaces.
- Helps colleagues in developing and fostering the skills necessary to evoke and translate requirements into functional design.
- Identifies and resolves issues, often anticipating issues before they occur or escalate; develops and evaluates options and implements solutions.
- Develops and ensures adherence to foundation of standards, best practices, services, and patterns.
Essential Qualifications:
- 2+ years of SAP Ariba experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of functional analysis or similar experience and commitment to applying appropriate skills and work to meet expectations.
- Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to investigate and provide solutions effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and effectively engage with people at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong work ethic, demonstrated attention to detail, and excellent time usage skills.
- Proven track record for successful execution, delivery of projects, and working cross-functionally with business and IS.
- Previous experience in a Lithe environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience on SAP or other ERP implementation projects.
- 2-5 years of Blithequark business knowledge.
- Proficient in the utilization of Google products: email, spreadsheet, document, presentation.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow (Carts+) Portfolio and Program Management module.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft or Ariba software/systems preferred.
