Our commitment to sustainability, digitalization, and innovation drives us to create a better future for generations to come. **Job Description** **Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Field Service Manager to lead our Mobility Customer Service team in Charlotte, NC. As a Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a Technical Support team to deliver high standards in safety, performance, and reliability per the various Technical Support and Spares Agreements (TSSSA). You will develop strong and successful relationships with aligned customers' key collaborators and ensure the assigned arenaflex Field Service team is aligned with supporting both the customers' operational goals and arenaflex TSSSA targets. **Key Responsibilities:** * Build and lead a Technical Support team to deliver high standards in safety, performance, and reliability per the various Technical Support and Spares Agreements (TSSSA) * Develop strong and successful relationships with aligned customers' key collaborators * Ensure the assigned arenaflex Field Service team is aligned with supporting both the customers' operational goals and arenaflex TSSSA targets * Collaborate with the RAMP organization to ensure the assigned Siemens Field Service team is aligned with the objectives of the RAMP organization who have the overall fleet reliability responsibility * Supervise and lead a team of direct and indirect reports in North America (USA & Canada) * Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting positive collaborative relationships across the team, with customers, RAMP, Projects, Materials departments * Provide feedback to the team regarding performance, quality, and efficiency issues * Provide oversight for performance, training, and career development of site managers and field technicians * Promote standard processes are shared between sites and shared with other teams **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical field of study preferred. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, a combination of education and relevant work experience with the rail industry will be considered * A minimum of three years of comparable work experience to include maintenance management within the rail industry * Experience in running and leading multi-functional teams in a rail environment * Detailed technical knowledge, theoretical and practical operation of the system and components of rolling stock vehicles * Solid understanding of maintenance management, familiarity with the locomotive industry, equipment, terminology, and regulatory obligations * Demonstrated leadership, ability, and initiative * Well-demonstrated written and verbal communication skills * Prior application of continuous improvement techniques and principles * Familiar with PM@arenaflex, Project Management Professional (PMP)®, or other Project Management methodology and terminology * Familiarity of OSHA Law and Regulations and the Code of Federal Regulations CFR-49 **Why you'll love working for arenaflex:** * Freedom and healthy work-life balance – Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, HSA/FSA, Commuter Benefits – starting Day 1! * We believe that each member of our team is accountable for making decisions, solving problems, and taking actions that contribute to long-term impact and financial success * We do the right thing.
