**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our New Item Presentation group, you will play a crucial role in architecting and planning data communications and dashboarding, ensuring seamless data management and driving enhancements in our elite products. Your work will influence Tesla specialists and production teams daily, impacting the productivity of the organization and the functionality of our products.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Build robust, adaptable, and automated software tools to enable complex analysis of real-time data
* Answer complex questions on change impact on manufacturing
* Cross-convey data from different data storage areas
* Work closely with design, manufacturing, provider, and IT teams
* Contribute to the automation and standardization of our data pipelines
* Build visualizations to convey insights accurately
* Analyze and determine the optimal solutions for change coordination with manufacturing, other Tesla plants, and providers (including EBOM, MBOM, etc.)
* Provide thought leadership in analysis, visualization, and presentation to advance team's capabilities and results
* Guide colleagues and collaborate within and remotely to tackle business issues
* Create and program oversee execution of solutions and business processes that are optimized for speed, accuracy, cost efficiency, capacity, and adaptability
* Foster choice supportive networks, tools, and models that are flexible and reproducible to help with planning development and decision-making for arenaflex
* Work with partners to take a complex issue statement, refine the scope of the investigation, and utilize the results to drive informed decisions
* Summarize and clearly convey data analysis assumptions and results
* Build data pipelines to advance your ad-hoc data investigations into production dashboards that experts can rely on
* Plan and execute metrics, applications, and tools that will enable engineers to self-serve their data experiences
* Work with architects to drive adoption of your applications and tools
* Write clean and tested code that can be maintained and extended by other developers
* Work and support your production applications
* Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies and methodologies, and propose new ones that the team could use
* Recognize patterns, design better approaches for looking at data, and set imaginative goals to drive enhancements in both existing and future products
**What You'll Bring**
* Four-year degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent in experience and proof of outstanding ability
* Strong knowledge of data structures, languages, and tools like SQL
* Experience and interest in data visualization procedures
* Ability to issue settle and change needs with minimal early notification to fulfill time constraints
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Experience with statistical software (R), database languages (SQL), simulation tools (Field, AnyLogic, FlexSim), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, d3.js)
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and continually evolving high-growth environment
* Comfortable in a climate with unstructured, incomplete, and ambiguous data
* Strong foundation in statistics
