**Program Overview**
Our 14-week tax season support program is designed to provide a unique opportunity for individuals to gain valuable experience in customer service, while also contributing to the success of arenaflex. The program will run from January 13th to April 15th, 2025, and is open to individuals with no prior experience in customer service.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Full Stack Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer service through phone, chat, and email support
* Resolving customer queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Collaborating with our team to identify and troubleshoot software-related issues
* Developing a deep understanding of our products and services to provide informed support
* Working closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences
* Utilizing active listening skills and probing questions to facilitate quicker resolutions
* Maintaining a positive and supportive attitude in challenging customer interactions
* Adapting to fast-paced scenarios and demonstrating resilience in the face of change
**Technical/Functional Skills**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to display empathy with customers
* Intermediate understanding of operating systems and software environments required
* Ability to identify and troubleshoot software-related issues
* Tailoring your communication style to accommodate the varying needs and tone of different customers
* Skilled at catering to customer needs and making intricate ideas more straightforward and relatable
* Ability to defuse conflicts with irate customers through effective communication
* Familiarity with Windows 10 or 11, AMD or Intel Core Series (I3-I9), at least 8gb of RAM, webcam, wired mouse, USB headset, wired internet connection, and Windows computer (Mac and Chromebooks are not permitted)

**Knowledge/Background Experience**
While prior experience in customer service is not required, you'll need:
* A high school education
* Basic knowledge of tax laws and principles
* A track record of providing support in a call center setting is advantageous, along with a proficiency in engaging through chat if required
**Behavioral Competencies**
As a Full Stack Customer Service Representative, you'll need to:
* Be adept at following work schedules and open to working additional shifts when the situation demands it
* Feel at ease appearing on video with customers and appreciate the importance of humanizing the connection
* Center your actions around customers and their needs, working towards cultivating and sustaining valuable customer relationships
* Present a supportive and accommodating attitude in challenging customer interactions
**Operating Hours**
Our schedule ranges from 8 am to midnight Eastern Standard Time, every day of the week. A weekly quota of 30 hours is compulsory, with a focus on working for a minimum of 8 hours each day, specifically on April 13th, 14th, and 15th.
**Peak Period**
During the peak period of April 9th to 15th, you'll be expected to work at least 30 hours per week. Assistance will be provided during this period from 8 am until midnight Eastern Time, with access to a $5 Turbo Bonus Boost hourly.
**Mandatory Requirements**
To be eligible for this role, you must:
* Reside within the borders of the USA
* Clear a background check and pass a technical assessment
* Be willing to participate in certification attendance, which includes being on camera throughout the process
