Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute short-term, mid-term, and long-term growth strategies to drive sales, share, and profit results on Amazon, aligning with blithequark's overall digital commerce vision.
- Collaborate with Protein leadership, Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of plans, including sales forecasts, brand and marketing support, and merchandising and promotional strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including buying teams, to drive growth, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful partnerships.
- Educate the organization on the strategic importance of e-commerce and trends/developments within this rapidly evolving channel, driving adoption and execution of e-commerce strategies.
- Analyze data and insights to provide sound merchandising, marketing, promotional, and product optimization recommendations, driving business results and growth.
- Own and execute merchandising, marketing, promotional, and content plans, collaborating with brand, season, digital, shopper marketing, and sales teams to drive business results.
- Co-own relationships with content development, creative agencies, and media agencies to ensure effective execution of plans and optimization of creative content.
- Establish business reporting and KPIs to ensure progress against objectives, communicating results and insights to stakeholders.
- Serve as an operational evangelist for assigned accounts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure catalog accuracy, in-stock/forecasting reliability, new product setup, and sales planning.
Essential Qualifications
Experience and Education
- 5+ years of experience managing a P&L or Digital Commerce business, preferably in a CPG background.
- BA/BS in business, marketing, or a comparable field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Previous sales experience with direct management of a customer/retailer relationship, preferably with Amazon or translatable experience.
- Demonstrated P&L management with strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high-impact initiatives.
- Experience directly managing customers, including strengths in advising and negotiating.
- Strong ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
- Excellent management skills, with the ability to delegate and manage multiple priorities while generating positive relationships.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge and experience managing digital customers, media, and creative development, SEO, and e-commerce merchandising, preferably with translatable experience.
- Proven ability to translate insights into sound merchandising, marketing, promotional, and product optimization recommendations (prescriptive selling).
- Superb communication skills, including strong oral and presentation skills with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and quick learning.
