Your primary responsibilities will include inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating order statuses for customers, and double-checking your work to ensure that data is entered correctly.
**Responsibilities:**
* **Confidentiality:** Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive customer and account information.
* **Data Entry:** Input customer and account data by typing text-based and numerical information from source documents within set time limits.
* **Data Verification:** Compile, verify the accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
* **Error Correction:** Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check the output.
* **Research:** Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
* **Data Program Techniques:** Apply data program techniques and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient data entry.
* **Reporting:** Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
* **Document Scanning:** Scan documents and print files, when needed.
**Requirements:**
* **Microsoft Office:** Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* **Computer Skills:** Strong computer skills, including touch typing and database management tools.
* **Attention to Detail:** Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately, with a strong attention to detail.
* **Analytical Thinking:** Ability to think analytically and troubleshoot errors.
* **Data Entry Experience:** Experience working on a Data Entry Clerk position is a plus.
