- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability and reliability of SQL databases
- Participate in the development of new technologies and contribute to the wider engineering community through open-source initiatives
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering. The minimum qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in developing, deploying, and operating relational database programs
- Proven experience in growing observability capabilities into solutions to enable the critical identification of root causes for failures
- 2+ years of experience with SQL and scalability
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the minimum qualifications, we prefer candidates with:
- Exposure to Public Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Experience with open-source technologies and contributing to the wider engineering community
- Strong understanding of financial regulatory expectations and experience working in a regulated environment
