**The Role**
As a Customer Service Representative - Remote, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat. Your primary objective will be to resolve customer inquiries, address concerns, and provide solutions that meet their needs. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication, efficient issue resolution, and a positive customer experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Answer 70-90 incoming phone calls per day from customers and identify the type of assistance needed
* Make outbound calls to customers regarding medical referrals
* Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information in computer systems
* Assist customers with obtaining prescribed medical equipment and supplies
* Verify insurance eligibility and benefit coverage, obtaining insurance authorization
* Research complex issues across multiple databases and work with support resources to resolve customer issues
**Requirements**
* High school diploma / GED (or higher) or equivalent work experience
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* 1+ years of experience working in a customer service in a call center environment
* Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
* Ability to work an 8-hour shift schedule during normal business hours (8:00am - 5:00pm PST) and occasional overtime
