Job Overview
As a Customer Advocate I at blithequark, you will play a vital role in our call center, working closely with members and physicians to respond to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. Your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch support, addressing the needs of our customers and ensuring their satisfaction. Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with our requirements. These include:
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- At least 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment
- Data entry and/or typing experience, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter information into our systems
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and make independent decisions
- Ability to spend approximately 90% of scheduled time on the phone, with the capacity to sit for long periods and take scheduled breaks
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 months of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support and resolving customer issues
- Experience working with various lines of business, such as CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management, with a strong understanding of the healthcare industry
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a customer-facing role
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change, with a strong desire to grow and develop in your career
- Referral preference given to applicants who can take and meet testing criteria, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a willingness to invest in their professional development

Compensation and Benefits
